Born to make a mess

If you once believed you were going to spend the rest of your life with someone, and you aren't with that person now, what makes you think This new person is your forever?

It must be how much "better" he or she is... The things that this one does that the last one didn't... Or the way this one does it that's so unike the last... Or is it the more you agree upon with this new mind or is it the more opposite thoughts that are attractive...? Does this person bring another side out of you or make you a better person all together.....?
How would you know that the next person you exchange words with over spilt coffee wouldn't have you at hello....?.....Regardless if you're already so content with your current forever.....

Do soul mates exist?
            Is your other half of a mind out there.... Your walking talking missing link......? As a special someone in my life now would say, the swiss army knife over a simple pocket knife.... infinite abilities to one....
             
                  And if you did meet someone so opposite of who you thought you'd end up with......but......your passions for your own dreams alike were flaming, and unstoppable.... The both of you such visionaries and introverted romantics .... Would that.... make this person .....your soul mate.... Because your souls could connect so remotely beyond any average model relationship you'd seen or heard of...... A sort of intellectual bond fused by love, trust, and a lot of brainwork.... everlasting through time with patience... always resorting to how the souls together perceive the issues .... working together to come out of problems with clarity and clean slates.... a team...

So is it not the person who has the same taste in everything you do....
or whom you have incredible sex with....
Is it not love when someone literally sweeps you off your feet and carries you to a hot bath and champagne....
Is it not love when you can use and abuse designer drugs together and speak of alternate universes

No it just can't be .... A soul mate must be someone who's souls perceive the world together with love... Two minds becoming one....
